Psychologist and psychiatrists know how to help people through these things, they are educationally trained to help others with their issues. Reaching out is not a bad thing, reaching out is knowing that one needs help with what they going through and it’s nothing to be ashamed of. Some people don’t know how to fix the body image issue. In the article Thinspo’ Blogs and the Darker side of Teen Social Media the author states, “I do not have a solution to the body-image issue that seems to plague adolescents, but I know that small steps society can move in the right direction” (Dodge). There’s not much people can do to solve these issues. Society can take small measures to be sure that we decrease negative body image, such as decreasing the amount of publicity put on models. Creating groups for people who want to get help but prefer to be in a larger setting instead of alone, the impact could be amazing. Hearing that other people have the same
