At the time, the orthodox perception of Henry was not positive. Patrick Henry was considered to be quite the extremist, and this bias is a major stymie in the ethos and respectability of his speech to his fellow politicians. To overcome this bias, Patrick Henry persuasively conveys his ideas through a careful manipulation of rhetorical devices appealing to pathos and logos throughout a meticulous and intensifying organization of opinions and ideas. Here, Michael was granted a choice. He had the choice extricate his friends from what would have been, most likely death. Without question Michael knew it was his obligation to rescue his friends, even when he knew the adventure was essentially a suicide mission. The contingency that he would rescue his friends and survive was incredibly tenuous, but to him, the idea of losing his friends was far worse than existing at all without them. Disaster strikes when we least expect it and when we’re the least prepared. Life or death situations that leave us wondering “why?”. My own brush with death still puzzles me to this day; why was everything so slow? The car ride was slick in the dead of winter. The winding road looked wet from the previous rain storm, but instead was covered with a thin layer of black ice.
It was 2075 and was on New Year's Eve and we were in Isis's last base underground in a science lab with secret super solders in chambers that would take one million solders to take out one super solder. Isis was about to attempt at one last push to take out america with two dozens of super solders. I was a test subject that only got half way through the presider when the alarm went off. I had to stop the presider because we were under attack and so the super solders set off in a pedestrian vehicle to slip past the enemy and had to go to the airport to get a plane so we can make it past security. We grabbed some enemy uniforms so we could get past airport security, but when we got there there was a green plane with a jet symbol on it with the keys inside and the door open.
