Violent video games have long since been debated and researched for their effect on youths. Popular belief dictates that violent video games, such as Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto and Halo, all encourage violent and deviant behaviors in youth engaging in them. Many researchers have extensively studied the effects of such video games and have determined that these video games cause not only aggression in youth but violence as well.
