To Be an Effective early childhood education teacher requires certain qualities a teacher must be able to stimulate the children's brain through exploration and reaching activities children need to know they are welcomed by maintaining relationships and partnering with families. The video highlighted characteristics all teachers that was responsive to Children's needs showed uniqueness of enthusiasm and affection we're encouraging engaging and Interactive. Teachers have to pay attention to Children's reactions and prompt them to investigate and expand their thoughts by suggesting they try things differently. This is the way to set children on the path of higher level thinking. Teachers help children

I learned it takes a patience, creative and knowledge to teach young children. A teacher must be an active observer, able to interact with the child while looking for ques to optimize on any teachable moment. They have the patient to listen and respond to children in way that prompts more thought processing. Teacher should use their creativity to facilitate activities that allow children to explore and incorporate their own ideas. Additionally, teacher should remember to build relationships of trust and support with the families and children.

I don’t disagree with the anything I heard in the video. I particularly like the point about adults being the model for language development. I know that to be true because the children I have worked with have always picked up language from their parents. If their parent’s vocabulary was limited the child had limited vocabulary and it took some time to help that break that cycle. I know parents that expose their children lots of language through conversation, books, travel and communal interactions. Those children come into the class ready for inquiry and can expand into higher level of thinking fairly
