Andrew Jackson was one of the many presidents of the United States that had to deal with getting the United States out of harsh situations. Andrew Jackson always had a strong opinion about a lot of things and wasn't easily influenced by others. While many people saw him as a man of the people, some also viewed him as a bad president. However, everyone has a different perspective of Andrew Jackson and what kind of person he was. He has gotten his country out of many battles but has also killed a large majority of innocent people throughout his life. He had a strong belief that the bank was unconstitutional and it had to go. This belief mainly came from the reasons that the bank only befitted certain members of society and it would be incredibly reckless. We can clearly see that he disagrees with having a national bank in Jackson and his war with the national bank when it states “Secondly the bank only befits elite members of society as it was run by a board of directors with ties to industry, manufacturing and finance” (paragraph 3). After Jackson won the election of 1828 he had a plan to cut off all the funds to the bank so it could no longer keep in business. Also known as “Starving the bank to death” however, to do this he would have to win the election in 1832. Even though Jackson knew it was not going to be easy to be reelected he pulled through and in 1822 Jackson officially announced a plan to remove all the funds from the national bank.They would now have to share the funds with other banks which made then less and less money. Then on September 10th, 1833 the national bank was completely out of business. Ultimately, many in Congress believed that Jackson had abused his power and kicked him out of office. Even so, Jackson left office happy that he killed the bank and it was no longer in business. So in conclusion, Jackson's actions affected everyone and had a huge impact on the events that will happen in the future like the civil
