The Book “Amusing The Million”, written by John F. Kasson describes how the amusement parks in Coney Island changed the attitude towards new cultures in the United States. Kasson talks about the era of famous amusement parks which began in 1895 before the first world war. These amusement parks were an effort to bring together the different cultures seen in the urban cities. Coney Island was a cultural accommodation for all the people who desired adventure and excitement.

It was shortly followed by Disney world, which was constructed in Orlando Florida in 1971. The Magic Kingdom took 6 years to build, but Disneyworld will never be quite finished. On July 17 1955 when Disneyland had completed construction in just 12 short months.
The time had come for our annual band trip. The band was on its way to encounter many fun attractions. The event I was most ecstatic for was Six Flags! The day we visited Six Flags I walked around with five of my friends and my girlfriend. We spent the whole day riding the park’s fantastic rides.
