Jones would come back and the animals do not remember if Jones was as bad as Napoleon so they trust Squealer but Squealer lies and says everything is better. Snowball Snowball plays the role of a leader of Animal Farm alongside Napoleon after the death of Old Major. Snowball is significant because he is the rebellions great leader. Snowball was following in the steps of Old Major and was trying to help make Animal Farm a better place for the animals. Snowball is very noble because he helps lead the rebellion and follows the rules of Old Major.
