Still many people see animal testing as an excellent process, due to some of its so called breakthroughs and benefits, however these people are either uneducated or choosing to ignore the faults and downsides of animal testing. Colossal amounts of animals go through excruciating and agonizing pain and suffering during the course of trails and testing, there is no need for them to endure this distress especially when sometimes it doesn't even work. One of the reasons it is not always accurate is because we are two different species and only a very limited amount of human diseases are recorded inside of the animal kingdom.
