We can learn about the day to day experiences of Anne Frank that the times were tough for Anne and her family, and million of other Jews during World War 2. They were forced to go into hiding after Amsterdam was taken over by the Nazis. The Franks stayed in the attic of her dad’s old office. Anne couldn’t go outside and couldn't do anything. In Anne Frank’s diary entries it shows that Anne tries to make the best out of times of chaos and danger. For example, she draws happy pictures on the walls of the office using the paint and brush her dad brought. While Peter, locks himself in his room and never comes out. In her diary entries, she describes everyone’s fear of being discovered and the group’s life in hiding. Four of Otto Frank’s former
