She was born June 12,1920, Anne and her family, along with four others spent over two years during World War II, hiding in an annex full of rooms above her father’s office in Amsterdam. Anne Frank later on in life died in March 12,1945 in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in Germany.

Jews could not run their businesses any longer. Otto had to put his Dutch workers as the owner of the Business. Margot got a letter, she was being demanded to report to a work camp in 1942. This letter led the Frank family into hiding, they were hiding in a place called the annex. The annex was hidden just above Otto's office.
The frank family went into hiding in an attic an attic apartment behind Otto's business. A week after they went into hiding, Otto's business associate Herman Van Pels, along with his wife Auguste, and their son Peter. A small group of Otto's employees, risked their lives to smuggle food, news, and supplies from the outside world. THe group of 8 lived in constant fear of being discoverd and could never go outside. The family had to remain very quite during the day in order to avoid detection from the employees in the warehouse below.
Germany surrenders, the war ends and Europe is free but in ruins. Everyone died in the concentration camps except for Otto Frank. Everyone died of disease and exhaustion. “Otto Frank returns to Amsterdam to see Miep and Jan Gies. Miep gives him Anne’s diary.”
