She was born June 12,1920, Anne and her family, along with four others spent over two years during World War II, hiding in an annex full of rooms above her father’s office in Amsterdam. Anne Frank later on in life died in March 12,1945 in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in Germany.
During the 1940’s, the Nazis gained control over Germany. As the persecuting of the Jews increased the Frank family went into hiding. On Monday, July 6th, 1942 the Frank family went into hiding behind a book case where Anne’s father used to work or known as the secret annex.

When Hitler became chancellor of Germany in 1933, Anne's family realized it was time to flee. The Frank family fled to Amsterdam, Netherlands. They were once again able to enjoy freedom in Amsterdam.
Her parents were Otto Frank and Edith Frank, she had an older sister, Margot Frank. When Anne was thirteen, her parents decided it was time to move when Adolf Hitler began sending Jewish people to concentration camps. They lived in hiding for over two years until they were caught and sent to camps where Anne died before her 17th birthday due to Typhus fever.
