Anne Frank was one of the 6 million jewish people killed in World War II. She was a normal teenager living a normal life, until Adolf Hitler began his malicious reign. Her diary was published in 1927, after World War II ended in 1945. This diary has over 30 million copies and has been translated into 67 languages.

Annelies Marie “Anne” Frank was born on June 12, 1929 in Frankfurt, Germany. Her parents were Otto Frank and Edith Frank, she had an older sister, Margot Frank. When Anne was thirteen, her parents decided it was time to move when Adolf Hitler began sending Jewish people to concentration camps. They lived in hiding for over two years until they were caught and sent to camps where Anne died before her 17th birthday due to Typhus fever.
