Karen .L Murphy is an assistant professor of early childhood education department at Wheelock College in Boston, Massachusetts. She has a PH.D degree on early childhood studies and teaches courses in educational technology in local schools and programs. In her article, she introduced some of the broader issues around using technology with young children. Then, she describes practices some students used to meaningfully incorporate technology into the integrated science curriculum they developed. Karen uses many examples

The authors did research on 185 teachers in Australian, focusing on the kinds of technologies being used and reasons for using and not using these technologies. The author discusses the advantages for using technology in classrooms, which are creating learning-environment and easily build a relationship with parents. He also mentions the disadvantages of using technology are cost and lack of knowledge about using these tools with young children. Overall, I think this article gives evidence to support my research papers on both advantages and disadvantages of using technology. I like couple examples the author provide in the article, including use YouTube to teach songs to children.
