Information on the source: Many individuals are upset over the fact that drug prices have been increasing. Drug companies need to focus on the value of drugs and making drugs that improve people’s well being so the drugs they make are what the customers want (Neumann & Cohen). The drug prices rising got compared to buying a car. This article talked about when people buy a car they often do not question how much it cost to make the car. They more so care about what the car can do for them. The authors of this article are saying that when people are buying drugs they need to focus on the effectiveness of the drug and if it will improve their health, rather than looking straight at the price of the drug and thinking it is too expensive.
