This source synthesizes information from a program created in a North California county with 94,000 inhabitants, producing a 22% poverty rate. The source type is secondary, with the primary information coming from multiple accounts and censuses. In the conclusion from the study, the results help create demographics and accounts of the homeless, revealing many of the causes and factors that the homeless makeup. Although the results coincide with typical homeless behavior and issues, the guidelines of the program fail to reveal information about all homeless individuals. This study puts focus on mostly rural families, who are desperate to seek any sort of help; not accounting those who refuse to seek help and/or those stuck in urban environments.
