The testing of the purpose was to determine existence of male assault in a community in the US. The accumulation of 336 agencies survey reported 3,635 male victim seen by the agencies but only 1,159 men reported the victimization. From the 336 agencies only 172 reported to service men, most were white heterosexual male seeking treatment. The psychological impact was traumatizing majority of victim faced PTSd and 46.3% had suicidal thoughts from the percentage most attempted the process of suicide. 161 undergraduates took participation on the research reading scenario of perpetrator victim, and sexual orientation of the victim. Followed by question to determine the blame towards the victim and perpetrator. Male responders to male victim portray a stereotype on the blaming of victims and females were pro victim. Males favored female perpetrators than male perpetrators without consideration of the male victim sexual orientation. Researchers concludes the responder did not consider the sexual trauma of the victim if it was a female regardless of sexual orientation. Social gender roles played a part of the view of male victim blaming also the inconsideration of trauma.

Neglect of male sexual assault in a community setting should be considered like a females. 14 male victim,only 5 over the age 18, were treated in a county hospital over 39 months.Case reports male victims sustained moe physical trauma have multiple assault in a longer captivity.
