The study’s purpose was to show whether or not female and male had the same views in what social behaviors were sexually harassing. The research came to the conclusion that women find more actions sexually harassing than men. However, the analysis also showed that the actions that females viewed as sexually harassing involved actions at the work environment, dating pressure, and physical sexual contact. The results show that after studying 62 meta-analyses women feel that they are clearly much more harassed by different things that they endure than men. This article will help me connect with my audience because it gives me statistical evidence on why it was necessary for the #MeToo Campaign to get underway. It gives insight on what men and women feel counts as sexual harassment and can support the apparent disconnection. Maria Rotundo is a Professor of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management at the Rotman School of Management, Paul Sackett has a PHD from The Ohio State University in Psychology, and Dung-Hanh Nguyen is in the Department of Psychology at California State University.
