On September 9th, in Anytown, USA, a mysterious death was discovered when a woman named Anna Garcia was found face down dead in her home. It all started when Anna’s neighbor, Doug noticed how Anna’s dog was constantly barking for two hours straight which was very unusual in the quiet suburban neighborhood. Doug realized this and tried calling Anna multiple times and rang her doorbell but when no one answered, he decided to call the police at 9:45 a.m. The EMT and the police arrived at 9:56am but the door had to be broken down and there was Anna lying face down in the entry of the hallway.
Student Case Study I have chosen an eleven-year-old Hispanic American female student for my case study. Anna is in my homeroom class and in the 6th grade. In the classroom, she has various seating arrangements due to her behavior issues; talking, touching, eating, not in her seat, etc. She sits at the front of the room and next to my desk.

Although I have read multiple books some which include in my native language, yet none had ever described the insight of being an immigrant and the harsh conditions many go through. Furthermore, not only does she defend my thoughts and opinions, but takes action in every single one of her books. Consequently, I was personally truly impressed and satisfied to find authors who take their power to address many social problems in the hispanic community. But that confidence soon began to subside. In elementary school, we would have an annual test that determined whether a student can be placed in an advance or tutorial reading class, and every year I would be placed into the advance reading courses, so when it came time to take the test, I knew there wasn’t anything for me to worry about. And even though my score was one of the highest in the class, I still ended up in a reading tutorial class. I was a little taken aback by it, but it didn’t stop me from my love of reading and writing and plus I could switch out of those classes is I showed improvement.
