One of the reasons that the parents are to blame is, they made it so that Romeo and Juliet could not come to them without getting punished or scolded . Another reason is, the parents made things worse for Romeo and Juliet. The final reason is, Romeo and Juliet would not have to lie as much, if they could have come to their parents and talk.The parents of Romeo and Juliet are to blame for Romeo and Juliet’s death because Romeo and Juliet were unable to talk openly to their parents, the parents made things worse and if the parents had more kind and open, they would not have had to lie as much. If Juliet could have come to her parents about her marriage to Romeo she would not have had to fake her death. Another example is, Romeo and Juliet would not have had to kill themselves if they could have come out and tell their parents and expressed their love. They had to keep their love a secret, because they knew that their parents would not have accept them.
