A stolen life banned This book is a book that deals with real life. A life in which no one would ever want to endure. This book is about how a 11 year old girl was kidnapped and her freedom was taken away. This paper will discuss why and how this book "A Stolen Life" is banned from libraries and schools and why schools and libraries choose not to have it? If we want to understand why this book is banned or challenged first we would have to know what that means. According to the American library association "A banning is the removal of those materials. Challenges do not simply involve a person expressing a point of view; rather, they are an attempt to remove material from the curriculum or library, thereby restricting the access of others."
