Video games are something we play every day. We can spend hours on a specific game trying to win or beat the other team. What one fails to see is that video games can be used as a "Medication" for children or adults who suffer from ADHD. I do not support this theory, video games cannot be a medication for suffering from ADHD. People believe that video game is a way to help others with ADHD because while playing video games one needs to concentrate. According to the article, “DHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. People with ADHD have a hard time focusing and often feel restless and fidgety. Akili Interactive Labs, a Boston-based company, thinks video games can help. They hope to become the first company to have a game approved as a medical device to treat the condition.” (Paragraph 2) This company seems like they want to do the right thing and help the children and adults.
