Drunk Driving It’s incredibly disappointing when citizens of Arizona read the newspaper, online or view the news of a person getting hurt and seeing an abundance of damage done by the actions of humans deciding to be under the influence. How could a citizen of Arizona be so irresponsible and risk their own and other innocent lives. The cause of over drinking alcohol is the effect of a citizen driving intoxicated, which is unacceptable in Arizona, or anywhere. Arizona should be against drunk driving, because of driving under the influence of alcohol, a variety of any age is killed every year and many citizens who are driving while there is alcohol in their system somehow get away with a warning or just let them drive off like the nigh never happened, to me that’s ridiculous because they will keep doing it repeatedly. It is not just citizens 21 and over, it is also young teenagers. Young teenager makes mistakes, hear that all the time, but driving under the …show more content…

This corresponds to the lawmaker and police officers that are supposed to be protecting Arizona from tragedies and also to the all the citizens of Arizona. One way the problem can be solved in Arizona with driving under the influence is to raise the price of the fine to 8,000 dollars and having to do at least 12 months of jail time with no warning. The laws in Arizona need to be extremely stricter now. A problem that happens is people still get pulled over while being under the influence. What needs to happen with the law is that the law should be stricter on people who get pulled over being under the influence; especially if they are young teenagers. An antipathy a citizen can receive for wanting to add to the law for people who drive under the influence might neglect what citizen’s offer as a solution for being a cluster.
