Net Neutrality Repeal:
Net Neutrality has been around since the 1990’s when the Internet started to get popular, but it was different back about 30 years ago since the Internet was just beginning and limited. Internet now has advanced and it’s a part of our daily lives, we have cell phones, laptops, tablets, desktops and even smart watches. Net Neutrality is letting big carriers to rule the Internet, prices and choices (“Net Neutrality”). This research is to show the negativities of the repeal of Net Neutrality. This repeal is a terrible act that the FCC has allowed, it will raise the prices, let lower websites go down, and will have limited options to pick from. The bad news is the repeal for Net Neutrality bill was passed in December 14th 2017, but it hasn’t been put into place, nobody has heard anything about a set date yet. The Internet is used every day by us for research, entertainment, and businesses, but it’s uncommon to not see people using the Internet in some kind of way: Say there was a family and they used a service like Comcast for its Internet service, however Facebook was bought by Verizon, if the family wanted to use Facebook they would have to pay extra for it.
