Yes, Pluto is a planet in our Solar System. When you’re included in a family with eight other siblings, no matter what shape, size or color, you should never leave it. According to USA today, Harvard science historian Owen Gingerich, who in charge of International Astronomical Union (IAU) planet definition committee, argued at a forum that "a planet is a culturally defined word that changes over time," and that Pluto is a planet.
If I asked you “What does NASA stand for?” you would probably say either “Need another seven astronauts” or “Need another shuttle also”. Today those jokes can’t be funny because NASA’s funding has been cut by congress, so they could probably use more astronauts and another space shuttle, but they don 't have the funding to hire more people and or keep up with today 's progress. NASA’s funding shouldn’t be cut by the government because NASA doesn’t have much money to support its educational programs, NASA also doesn’t have the funding to keep up with technology, so NASA can’t send anyone into space until 2021, and they won’t have the ability to keep up with the progress which will set them back generations. NASA has recently halted some of their educational programs due to budget cuts and American citizens are not happy.
In life some feel the need to prove something to others. That they are better, stronger, or even more intelligent. Whatever the case may be people will go through extreme measures to prove themselves. But who do we really need to prove anything to? Is it our parents?
Humans have been studying the moon, sun, and stars since around 5,000 years ago. It is humans’ natural curiosity to study was is around us, and the sky is all around us. Once technology was advanced enough humans decided to check out the moon and see what they have been wondering about for the past 5,000 years. The other mental factor that sent humans to the moon was again, drive. Another mental factor that put humans on the moon was drive.
People should spend money on space exploration, because humans are naturally curious and the cost for space travel is only a small fraction of the government's budget. To begin with, the cost for space exploration is only a small fraction of the government’s budget so why worry if space exploration is too expensive? As Maryanne Coronna stated in “Leaving Main Street'', “At a cost of six-tenths of a percent of the federal budget it’s well worth the price.” Nobody should be stressing about money for space exploration when the government can pay for it and still have enough money for other things like preserving Earth.
Colonizing Mars It takes nine months to get to the red planet. Nine long months in a spaceship without much food, oxygen, water, little living space, and only other people to keep you company. Colonization of Mars is not okay because the planet is deadly, the trip is long, and the atmosphere is frigid. Mars is very deadly, unlike Earth.
The evidence that Mars is shown in facts graphs, images it's proof that people can survive and live on Mars because the planet is abundant in water which is one of the biggest factors for people to adopt. Scientists are planning to find a way for people to get to Mars, it's not going to be until the period of 2100s. Scientists are planning and predicting to find a way that people can get into Mars but it isn't taken seriously. In 2045,a group students went to Mars for a field trip to study the terrain. The main characters, one principal and a group of Harvard students prove in arguing facts that Mars shows there is a way people can survive.
Mars has potential in becoming another habitable planet humans could thrive on. Unfortunately, it would take a lot of hard work, and scientific theories to make it a reality. Scientists have theorized a variety of different ways to make Mars habitable thankfully. One theory is to put micro organisms onto the surface. These organisms would be able to take in Nitrogen from the air and create oxygen.
According to the CIA, an extraordinary 95 percent of all Americans have either heard or read something about UFO’s, and 57 percent believe they are real. UFO’s are not a rare thing in today’s society and have been said to have occurred to approximately three-million Americans. Scientists have been asking the question of extraterrestrial life for decades. From the famous Roswell UFO in 1947 until December 17 1969, The US Air Force actively investigated reports and sights of UFOs, under a program called Project Blue Book. This program investigated 12,618 UFO sightings and 701 of those cases still remain unidentified.
Gene Dingle-Argument Mars Essay If you are one of the nutcases who are basically asking for a death wish, read this carefully and you will not want to go to the red planet. Going to space in general is very risky. The first men to walk on the moon went through years of training. So how do you expect to go to Mars, survive and come back in one piece?
Many people say it's part of our genetic desire like in the article “leaving main street” the author keep saying that our genetic desire is the reason why we should go to space but that should not be the reason for
Is Space Exploration Worth it? Do you want to stay here forever? The question of space exploration has lingered inside everyone’s mind since the Space Race and humans looked to the stars. Humankind exploring our interstellar neighborhood in inevitable and beneficial.
Many people think that space exploration is a waste of money. They think that people shouldn’t be looking to the stars and that space exploration is unnecessary. Then there is the people who think otherwise. People from NASA, or people who just in general love space ,want to fund for the cause. They think that space can help the economy improve and that there is more to space than stars and a bunch of planets.
All the forms of communication we use are things in the world that humans live in right now internet for example isnt just something humans couldn 't just get rid of right now people it in schools and other vitals like banks and the government use these things and if it wasn 't for satellites we would not have the world we do now. Research is vital in exploring space but in everyday lives. Space rockets use a tons of money in multiple things like in launch sequences and fueling because rocket fuel is very
The term “safe space”, a supposed haven where students of minority and marginalization can feel free to express their ideas and be themselves has started a movement across college campuses nationwide. The newfangled movement is driven largely by students who wish to scrub campuses clean of offensive or discomforting topics. Safe spaces emerged during the post-Civil Rights era where women, LGBTQ, and racial minorities grew in presence on campuses; however, today they serve as refuges for like-minded people who don’t feel the need to explain or defend their personal beliefs. Recently, the safe space debate has taken a controversial turn: arguments and cases have been created over whether safe spaces provide a supportive environment or cultivate
