In fact in most cases, I believe that science verifies that the religious text is valid. For example in my religious text, it mentions that a miracle in the past have caused the moon to split. At first without any proof it sounds made up. However very recently scientists have discovered that there is indeed a crack all the way cross the entire moon. For humans there are two different viewpoints, either it’s a miracle that happened by the All-Mighty, or it’s just a fact that can be tested and proved. However when it was discovered, everything that was written in that sentence all the sudden started making sense. So even though in religious scriptures, sentences might be written, there are somethings where it is too much knowledge for a human being, so when science comes and discovers something new, the first thing we do is look in our religious text to see if there are any contradictions with one another. The reading mentions that “both knowledge of the world as well as beliefs” are needed in order to make sure we believe and trust in something fully. Which makes total sense from all the examples that I have just mentioned previously. As humans we are curious to find out how things
