Have you ever tried smoking? Not just a cigarette but something else with a
(beneficial) effect?
Herb.. Bud. Ganja. Blunt. Joint. Weed. And Cannabis. All these names describe one thing: MARIJUANA. Each little bud and leaf of the marijuana plant is composed of hundreds of chemicals. Many of these chemicals have been found to excrete ‘happy hormones’ making the smoker feel light-headed. Thus, it relieves stress and can be medicinal.
Marijuana is an illegal drug with numerous users in various parts of the world. The legalization of the use of marijuana has been a heated debate for years. Those who oppose on the legalization of marijuana would ask “Why should marijuana be legalized?” But the real question is “Why is marijuana illegal?”

Why? Because it is available for purchase. You don't have to be ‘old enough’ to get your hands on marijuana -- marijuana dealers usually don't care how old you are as long as you have money. To be frank, it is actually easier for many high school students to obtain marijuana than it is for them to obtain alcohol, because alcohol is legal. Therefore, it is regulated to keep it away from minors. If the country’s goal is to reduce drug consumption, then it should focus on open and honest programs to educate youth, regulation to keep drugs away from minors, and rehabilitation programs for people with drug problems. We tried prohibition with alcohol, and that failed miserably. Prohibition also does not allow sick people to use marijuana as a medication. It utterly insists that marijuana does not have any health benefits. But the truth is, marijuana has a therapeutic significance. It is already concluded that smoking marijuana is an effective treatment for cancer. So, if it has the possibility to mend the most notorious illness, it should be a legal drug. (Unless you want people to die!
