Currently, twenty-six states and the District of Columbia currently have laws legalizing marijuana in some form. Three other states will soon join them after recently passing measures permitting use of medical marijuana. It is foolish to have it legal in certain states, but not all of them, and if this is fixed, then we will prosper as a nation. Both the economy and our American people will be winning, if we see the decriminalization of this plant. There are actually three types of cannabis. There is cannabis Sativa, cannabis Indica, and finally cannabis Ruderalis. The Cannabis Sativa plant is the tallest plant and its is associated with a euphoric high. The plant can be anywhere from one foot tall all the way to thirty feet. Most of the male plants will produce a seed and when they spread their seeds, the plant will die. However, their seed carries through the air and they fertilize another female plant. The cannabis plant will then produce these beautiful buds on stems (Related Applications, n.d).
The Cannabis Indica is a much less recognizable cannabis plant. The high associated with this plant is what some would refer to as a “downer”, which means it makes the user relaxed and eases their nerves. This plant is often very short and doesn't get tall even in full growth.
