Lord of the Flies written by William Golding is about a group of young school boys who are stranded on an island. With this picture in mind you may be thinking about an adventure novel that will keep you on the end of you're seat, but it's nothing like that. This novel, which is read by 10th graders, has many gory and extreme events that happen which is why it shouldn't be in our school curriculum.
