Why Schools Should Have Job Help Centers.
High schoolers face many struggles, but one of these struggles is often overlooked: the need for a job. This is not a problem specifically in high school, in fact there are many grown adults who are unable to find a job; however, a job in high school is important and can provide for a better future. Schools in our nation should provide a job help center for students because it would help high school students find jobs, teach students how to fill out resumes and applications, and prepare students for life after graduation.

When a student lives at home, they have very little that they are required to pay for by themselves. Their parents pay for all of their utilities, food, clothing, phones, etc., thus concealing the actual need for the student to search for a job. While a job does provide informative experience, it also provides for their future through savings. “One reason high-school students and undergraduates used to work was to earn money to pay for college,” says Jeffrey J.
