Arizona Christian University, founded by Len Munsil, is devoted to teaching students about Christ so that they may go out into the world and “transform culture with truth.” Faith, one of the categories from the acronym F.I.R.E. is integrated the most with ACU and the vision and mission for the school. ACU strives to equip students with bible knowledge through a common education so that they may serve the Lord through future endeavors related to employment and spiritual leadership. Faith is profoundly incorporated into the mission and vision of ACU and is of the highest significance in any Christian’s life.

Munsil differentiates the two relationships, as mentioned previously, but also voices his opinion that Christian based schools, as well as ACU, should be committed to “continuing to advance in the Gospel and evangelizing nonbelieving students” (Musil, L. (1960)). Not all students that are admitted into ACU possess a connection with Christ, and that ratio is escalating. ACU’s mission to serve the Lord in everything ties into what Munsil is trying to say. The Lord calls everyone to serve Him, and everything that happens is His plan. If a non-believing student attends a Christian based school, it is the school’s mission to attempt to preach the truth and possibly build a loving relationship between the student and God. Faith is the most important factor in life because it gives humans a connection to God. If humanity did not have faith, people would not be forgiven of their sins and would not enter into heaven. By educating students in this manner, they will strive to transcend what they thought their purpose was in life and alter society’s beliefs by preaching the truth. ACU is so unique and distinct because only people who have some type of Christian faith will be admitted into the school. This is where faith becomes extremely important. Students are thoroughly educated about God as His followers so that their faith continues to grow. Munsil goes on to explain that many Christian-based colleges “lose their faith based purpose when they changed their admissions policies” (Munsil, L. (1960)).
