I saw first in a uniform and got me prepared for basic training. Arriving at MEPs and things started to look different. What I thought was leader didn’t tell me exactly what I wanted to hear about the Army but told me how much money I can make and travel the world. More and more I get close to basic training leaders started to change. First my initial contact with my drill sergeant for the next 12 weeks now has begun my leader. I started to see his leadership qualities which I tried to emulate in basic for myself. Therefore, all my peers ahead of me I have much respect because I can learn so much from them as the move on into their career and I can take all their knowledge and brand into my own.
Next, I carry out my responsibilities the same way when ask of me to do. I find the strength in soldiers on who can do what the best and what there not good at. I will give soldiers responsibilities and when there are done I will tell them why the reasoning behind it. I look at if I would have done this if given to me to do.
First of all my priorities are getting young junior soldiers trained and knowledge in their duties and task. These newly soldiers coming into the will be in my position one day. So basically, what I know i teach them all the knowledge that I have received over my years of experience. I use power point slides to teach my soldiers everything I know on anything they want to know and have a tool to use if they forget.
I expect my soldiers to come to me if they do not understand their job. I do not mind training retraining soldiers on their jobs. I evaluate soldiers on their longevity in the
