Arthur Miller, was a very interesting man, Miller began his life on October 17, 1915, in Manhattan. He was the son of Augusta and Isidore Miller, both parents were Jewish immigrants from Poland. In 1932 Miller’s life began to take off. Miller began by working in an auto-part shop to save up money for a few college classes in New-York City. Miller was unable to provide the funding for his current college classes, so he began to save up and eventually enroll at The University Of Michigan. Miller finally got accepted into the The University Of Michigan his career in the performing arts flourished, Miller produced twenty-one plays and one movie, Miller had three marriages, four children, and even within all of this Miller even had some trouble with the HUAA (House Un-American Activities). Shortly after Millers Marriage with Monroe, Miller is called before the House Committee Of Un-American Activities to testify, but the committee chairman Francis Walters privately offers to let Miller off with a warning only if Miller agrees to have Monroe pose with Walters for his new campaign poster, but Miller politely rejects the offer, so in the end Miller is question of his involvements with the communist parties, but despite all the pressure from the HUAA committee, Miller decides to not speak or give out any names. May 31,1957, Miller is called back into court and is found guilty of Contempt Of Congress due to his rejection to speak during the trial with the HUAA. On July 8,1958 a final appeal trial happened, and the judge decided to overturn Mr.Millers Contempt Of Congress Conviction. Life before Miller’s trouble with HUAA was returned to normal.
