Body paragraph 1: Without the rules of having cell phones in class it creates a strong bond with teacher’s. When hearing the nagging of my teachers voice to put my phone away, it designs a separation between me and my teacher. For many people, having a teacher that doesn’t have many rules makes them feel closer and happier to be in the class and learning. In the article, “As Schools Lift Bans on Cell Phones”, Educators Weigh Pros and Cons, an elementary school teacher, Amber Schaefer states, “The more we push back, the more we separate ourselves from students.” This shows, that even if an experienced teacher believes we need a stronger bond. We honestly should stop pushing back technology and embrace it for the benefit of a exceeding relationship. Relationships are critical in a school environment because it affects the way you learn. Although, rules keep students focused, in the article, “As Schools Lift Bans on Cell Phones, Educators Weigh Pros and Cons” it says, “ Other teachers disagree and urge educators to accept the inevitability of cell phones in school and learn how to make them work in the classroom.”Making them work, means we could look up things that the teacher is not informed of. By helping the teacher it creates a better affiliation. Allowing students to look up information it teaches them to learn for themselves instead of being told.
