Enders Game by Orson Scott Cars is about a boy named Andrew "Ender" Wiggins. Ender is the youngest of three Genius Children in his family, and both Peter and Valentine have worn the same monitor that Ender wore. Though neither had the monitor for as long, and neither were selected to battle school. Battle School is the Military Run training facility the trains soldiers from the time they are children to be efficient and effective soldier for the international fleet. Enders success in being selected to train at battle school angers Peter, and upsets loving Valentine.
Especially when Ender starts off and goes to the school he is 12. I know it is hard to find a 6 year old actor, but they could’ve tried to make it so that he looked younger than he was so that it wasn’t obvious. They also could’ve made it so that when Ender thinks that he is playing a strategy game he is actually conducting an army without him knowing. They could’ve made it so that when he figures that out that this wasn’t a game the leaders of the school tranquilized him and I didn’t think it was relevant at all that they did that. It also didn’t happen in the book so I don’t see a reason for it.
In Orson Scott Card’s novel, Ender’s Game, Ender is indirectly characterized as being confident and strategic. A specific example of Card’s characterization is when End challenges boys twice his age to play in a video. Ender knows if he loses he will never hear the end of it. Card describes his efforts towards the boys as, “Ender was deft enough to pull off a few new maneuvers that the boy had obviously never seen before… Ender won it quickly and efficiently” (47). Specifically, the word, “deft” highlights Enders calmness and confidence when against the older boys.
People do bad things; they could steal some money, break a mirror, or kill an entire alien race to save his people. One boy managed to do it in Enders Game which is a tale of a young boy who will soon find out what his purpose in life is. Ender Wiggin, a six year old boy, is asked to go to battle school to prepare for a 3rd war with an alien race. When all the battles stopped; he finds an egg to produce more of the aliens and tries to find a planet for them to live. This great story was made not just a book, but also a movie and between the two, the movie shows more of a visual outlook on how Ender defeats an army of aliens.
Books are the ideal way to introduce a reader to the many morals of the human society. In the novel Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card, Ender, is drafted by the international fleet to lead multiple fleets of ships in combat against an alien species, but he does not realize that he was drafted for that purpose. Ender is sent to Battle School, where he becomes a true archetypal leader, and he gains many valuable friends that help him along the way. At a hidden asteroid, Ender begins what he believes are simulations, but really is the Third Invasion.

The characterization of Ender is he is extremely intelligent and can actually be very blunt. Peter is Ender’s older brother who is aggressive along with being a little bipolar.

After watching the Ted Talks Women video of Joan Halifax, I learn that they are many different components when it comes to the true meaning of empathy. I have gained a new found understanding and appreciation for the word compassion and its true meaning. Unfortunately, not everyone that works on the health care field has compassion. I been working in the medical field for 9 years and is very hard and sad to say but I have encounter a few medical providers that they have lack of compassion when it comes to patients and their situations.
Passion & Aggression Ender once said, “To learn how to truly fight in war, I must show passion and aggression.” During the story of the Ender’s Game, Ender feels like he’s stuck in between love and war. As the story of Ender’s journey goes on, he’s known to fight with so much aggression which makes him feel bad because he makes people not want to ever fight him again. In several parts of the story, Ender feels terrible after showing his aggression to someone because of his passionate side.
Importance of Violence Violence is more effective and necessary than other actions such as words during a fight against someone. In Ender’s Game, a boy named Ender Wiggin trains for a war in the Battle and Command School and encounters fights where his best option is violence. Violence is necessary because people need violence in order to win, to protect them, and because the lack of violence leads to loss. Violence is useful for winning a fight for example during the fight against Stilson, “Ender knew the unspoken rules of manly warfare even though he was only six. It was forbidden to strike an opponent who lay helpless on the ground; only an animal would do that,”(Card pg.7).
