Life can be better if you have hope, and it will give you a chance to accomplish your goals. In the novel, Fever 1793, by Laurie Halse Anderson, did u notice that Mattie had hope for her grandpa? In the book Mattie has hope for a lot of people like her mother. Throughout the novel Mattie starts to have more hope. I know that she has hope throughout the novel because she wouldn't of ben able to raise Neil.there are many things people will say about hope, but if Mattie didn't have hope she wouldn't of been able to live through the fever If you have hope then you will try more things, and it will spread to people around you.
Towards the end of book one, section 2 of the book “My Antonia” by WIlla Cather, Jim displays happiness as “to be dissolved into something complete and great. When it comes to one, it comes as naturally as sleep.” I do believe that Antonia agree with Jim’s definition of happiness. I get this assumption from a few things that are portrayed in this section of the book. Throughout this book I depicted Antonia as a free spirited girl.

In my own interpretation America represents change and the believe system as well as the way religion was previously practiced was now changing. This change was greatly influenced by the intellectual movement called Enlightenment, which started in Europe and this influence had bearing on the Great Awakening. Besides Puritans now there were Catholics in Maryland, Quakers in Pennsylvania and the Episcopal Church in the southern states.

Most of the individuals, to be specific, numbers 1,3 and 4 answered that they we are most afraid of death. They said we are afraid of death of a loved one,when and how we ourselves are going to die, and even thinking about death is problem. On the other hand, Individuals numbers 2 and 5 both said that we are most afraid of the unknown and not being control. This answer is similar to the first response because we as humans are cannot contain death, we cannot control it and we also do not know when or how we are going to die.
In Love and In Death William Faulkner’s short story “A Rose for Emily”, centers around a reclusive woman named Emily Grierson who is the protagonist of this story. “I Was Sleeping Where the Black Oaks Move” written by Louise Erdrich focuses on a child and a grandfather horrifically observing a flood consuming their entire village and the surrounding trees, obliterating the nests of the herons that had lived there. In the future they remember back to the day when they started cleaning up after the flood, when they notice the herons without their habitat “dancing” in the sky. According to the poet’s biographical context, many of the poems the poet had wrote themselves were a metaphor. There could be many viable explanations and themes to this fascinating poem, and the main literary devices that constitute this poem are imagery, personification, and a metaphor.
