The aim of this case study is to build an understanding of leadership, with the inter-acting of other leadership roles, as well as problem solving within various departments and its situations. With the understanding of how misuse of company property can have serious consequences, the scenario I have chosen shows how to resolve a company issue, which could have led to confusion and questions. In this case study, I will be identifying myself as an engineering office manager, in which one upper-level manager has repeatedly used the company credit card for personal expenses, and how I must handle and resolve this situation in a professional manner, while applying leadership attributes. …show more content…

Realizing that, leaders frequently face situations where conflict may arise in the workplace, there are times when they’re called upon to resolve certain situations. Following a common approach to resolve any workplace situation, a leader must sit down and talk to their employee (whether it’s a manager or non-manager). It is important first, for any manager in a leadership position, to have in place some key elements that lead to successful conversation regarding any issue. However, through time and practice, and as a leader, one must learn how to bring up any situation that is unresolved. And, by working together on this particular issue, finding a mutually based solution as leaders and in our leadership role, this will assist in resolving the problem at
