Phase One: The curriculum project was planned with the aim of teaching children about the nature and spring colors. The planned curriculum described the spring colors and the changes of the weather during our lives. Identification of spring seasons and spring colors was made. Paint and brushes were used to draw the spring colors. The curriculum web was designed for the use of the central and branching themes. Moreover, there was the utilization of language, trip arts, and science and language arts in the design of the curriculum. The teacher and the students read storybook, such as Bear Sees Colors by Karma Wilson and Jane Chapman. This picture book urges the children to explore the colors of nature with a bear. Essentially, this book offers children the opportunity to not only sharpen their rhyming skills but also their observation skills. In addition, it enables them to learn different colors making the interactive journey between the teacher, the student, and the new world very interesting. Spring is the season when most plants bloom, especially flowers. The teachers will identify a plant that has different colors and allow each child to observe the colors through a magnifying glass. Further, the students will color a tree leaf with different spring colors using a sponge and paint. The most prevalent colors are green, pink, and orange among other bright colors. To assess whether the students understand the need for the activities, the students will be asked to give reasons on why they should learn about the colors in the spring season. To further illustrate their understanding of the colors of spring, they will be asked to express what they have learnt through drawing. The students will be asked to draw various objects and shade using the colors they have learnt
