For the overall strength of the organization, I would say that products which are made in the U.S. is one of the strengths. More consumers are buying American (Loffer). Being said that products made in USA are quality, dependability, safety, and reliability. PAC is providing jobs for local people as the computer specialty components are produced in house. While their competitors are shifting plants oversea. In sense of marketing, this could make customers perceive differently, but in positive ways. Due to people usually perceive American products as hi-end products, company can increase prices to be higher than competitors, which means profit will be increased as revenue increased. Having a strong manager is one of the necessary things that every organizations are pursuing. Ben Trudeau could be a key man who drives organization goes forward faster as he is a positive thinker and active person. What they need to do are to increase buyers, outsourcing, reduce employee turnover, and offer split shift hours. According to PAC Resources Case Study, eighty-three percent of the sales come from one manufacturer. Even though it is a steady income source but it is unreliable and it is an unusual way to do business. Increase buyers can increase revenue and profit of the organization. So that they would earn more money to cover other expenses. Outsourcing is another possible way PAC can do to reduce costs. Outsourcing is allowed the organization to get access to skilled expertise. PAC will spend less on employee trainings and save man-hour. It is costly when someone leaves the job, and an organization needs to hire and train new employees to replace that position. Recruitment, selection, and training new employees are all considered as a cost that cannot be avoided. The organization should maintain core employees, this could save and will be the most effective way of cost cutting. Another alternative that an organization can do to reduce cost is to offer split shift hours. Employees will be paid based on working hours. The organization would benefit a lot, not only save money, but also getting more productivity by giving split shift, employees who are hired as split shift can work for a few hours, and take a break and then return to work again.
