Do you know how many products would be lethal without animal testing? Products such as make up wouldn’t be in stores without animal testing. Human lives have gotten so much better from animal testing. Animal testing ensures safety in everyday products. Animal testing is mandatory for human existence. Animal testing helps develop life saving cures, animals also benefit from it, and some products must be tested on animals before they can be released in stores.
First, according to the text, “ Animal research has also contributed to major advances in understanding and treating conditions such as breast cancer, brain injury, childhood leukemia, cystic fibrosis, malaria, multiple sclerosis, tuberculosis and many others” (Should Animals Be Used 3). These life saving cures and treatments have made life easier. Imagine how many more cures we could have with animal testing. Also,” The California Biomedical Research Association states that nearly every medical breakthrough in the last 100 years has resulted directly from research using animals”(3). Not only can animal testing help humans, it can also help the scarcity of certain species of animals. Animal testing is a two in one. “ If vaccines weren't tested on animals, millions of animal would have died from rabies, distemper, feline leukemia, and anthrax” (5).
