Arizona Christian University (ACU) is a private 4-year institution that is devoted to creating leaders who can produce an impact on the world with the gospel (God’s word). Len Munsil, the President of ACU and author of the book “Transforming Culture with Truth”, mentions in his book that “we have forgotten who we are.” (Munsil 2) Which leads to the question, who are we supposed to be? ACU’s mission is “to provide a biblically integrated education that prepares its graduates to serve the Lord Jesus Christ in ministries and professional occupations.” (Munsil 50)
Structural Integrity of Bethel University: College of Professional Studies Throughout this essay, I will be presenting detailed information regarding my position on Bethel University: College of Professional Studies’ organizational structure and the function it has within the higher education industry. Additionally, I will provide historical background information, as well as, compare Bethel University’s current organizational structure to modern management theory and applicable frameworks. With the assistance of Bolman and Deal’s (2017) “Reframing Organizations: Artistry, Choice, and Leadership (6th ed.), I will have the opportunity to present and identify current structural strengths and weaknesses, in comparison to Bethel University’s overall mission and productivity. Moreover, with the additional support of Gareth Morgan’s (2006) “Images of Organization,” I will be able to utilize metaphorical terminology to increase my overall perspective on organizational life and the need for multi-dimensional management mentalities.

The University of Tennessee is research-based, land grant university found in Knoxville, Tennessee. Based on the Carnegie Classification, the University of Tennessee is a research university. Most undergraduates are full-time and transfer rates are low.
The second domain in the Florida Principals Leadership Standards is composed of three different standards. The first of these is Instructional Plan Implementation and is about how an effective leader must collaborate to develop and implement an effective instructional framework that aligns with the required standards and meets his/her students’ needs (“The Florida Principal,” n.d.). Due to the variety in options that are available to align instruction to a pupil, given that the instruction will be adjusted to his/her needs, I feel that the situational leadership approach will be able to be implemented in this situation to create better results as “different situations demand different kinds of leadership (Northouse, P., 2016). The different leadership styles that make up the Situational approach can be tied to this standard by connecting the necessary leadership style with the supportive and directive behaviors in the task that is performed. As an instructor, I will spend time in the S1 category of the Situational Leadership Model as I make use of a “common language of instruction”, spend time between the S1 and S2 categories by “communicate the relationships among academic standards” and by being engaged “in data analysis for instructional planning and improvement”.
Introduction It is important to understand the organization has a shared vision and must work together (although process and programs may be different) to achieve a common goal. For example, in an educational organization the goal may be to produce college and career ready students. The organization will expect stakeholders to foster academic excellence with rigor. Another way to meet this goal is to develop trade skills using programs and processes within the organization. A third focus may be intense professional development for stakeholders to also reach the goal.

These values, including family, respect, integrity, service and responsibility, learning, and vision can have a strong impact on the student body and our community. Students attending Holy Family can gain a full understanding of the fundamentals which contribute to the core values and the school itself. At least one of these core values can help you overcome a problem you may stumble upon from day to day. This can include helping another peer in one way or another in the classroom, showing respect to your professors and peers, and even taking part in the presidential election outside of school.
In Dr. William’s video clip from Abilene Christian University’s Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Organizational Leadership website page, he states that the curriculum is integrated with vocational formation. This will be a key element of how I will further develop my skill sets as a positive leader within diverse populations. The Leader in Me teaches students 21st century leadership and life skills and creates a culture of student empowerment based on the idea that every child can be a leader (FranklinCovey, 2009). The program has created 7 habits that promote a positive learning environment. The program is also aligned to several national and state academic standards. The program is designed to teach students about life skills such as responsibility, accountability, leadership and initiative. The learning environment is designed to be student-led.

Teachers are being placed in the center of how schools function and are being asked to aid in crucial decisions about the academic direction of the school (Warren, 2016). Research by York-Barr and Duke (2004), states “teacher leadership roles range from assisting with the management of schools to evaluating educational initiatives and facilitating professional learning communities” (p. 1). While teacher leadership is evolving, the perceptions that teachers have regarding themselves as leaders has not truly been uncovered. This literature review is an attempt to highlight the research surrounding teacher leadership. It begins with the foundations of teacher leadership which includes the history of teacher leadership, the evolving definition of teacher leadership, and finally a summary of current teacher leadership development programs.
