Born as Christopher Wallace on May 21, 1972, in Brooklyn, New York, Biggie Smalls, also known as Notorious B.I.G. Biggie had a rough childhood from the result of being surrounded by drug addicts and dealers. In his early teens he had finally joined the life that encompassed him. At the age of 17, Biggie was arrested for selling crack, and spent nine months in a North Carolina prison before making bail. Around his neighborhood, Biggie Smalls, as he called himself then, began building a reputation as a musician. In 1969, Milken joined Drexel Harriman Ripley, which merged with Burnham and Company in 1973. By 1976, Michael Milken's income was estimated at $5 million a year. Milkens development of the high-yield debt market in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions is said to have fueled the 1980s boom in leveraged buyouts, hostile takeovers, and corporate raids. Tupac supported Biggie and was often giving him advice. But in late November of 1994, Biggie and Puffy were at a recording session at Quad Recording Studios in Manhattan, Tupac went there to record with another rapper for his third studio album, at the same time, but in the lobby, Tupac was held at gunpoint and robbed of $40,000 worth of jewelry.
