Have you ever thought about having the most money in the world? Well if so then you have for sure heard of Bill Gates. As of now Bill Gates is ranked number one for the richest person in the world. With money like that Gates could probably buy anything he wants, considering he has over a thousand cars and the cars are not cheap. He owns over nine hundred Porsches and with money like that who knows what other cars he has. Gates also has a hundred million dollar dream mansion that anyone would die for. Gates has spent thirty million dollars on a notebook from Leonardo da Vinci. The notebook had scientific writings from da Vinci himself. Gates was flying coach for a while until he realized he could buy anything he wants and went to go buy his own jet. The private jet Gates decided to buy is the THE Bombardier BD-700 Global Express worth forty five million dollars. Bill Gates calls his private jet “The Big Splurge” because he spent a lot of money on it. His next big “splurge” was his huge Porsche collection. Gates first purchased a Porsche 911 Turbo in 1979 and rumor has it that he was pulled over quite a few times in the blue sports car. This 911 has since been auctioned off for $80,000. Then after that he fell in love with the car brand. He soon expanded from no car to a Porsche to nine hundred and fifty nine Porsches. Then comes his hundred million dollar mansion. Bill Gates house took him and his team seven entire years to build. The house also cost him one hundred and sixty nine million dollars to build his mansion. His home is located on the coast of washington. Then comes his Codex Leicester, he dropped an astonishing thirty million dollars on it. The Codex Leicester is a journal of writings done by Leonardo da Vinci. I have no idea why Bill Gates would spend his money on writings by Leonardo da Vinci but it is his money not mine. But with things like that also come taxes and engine checks for his airplanes. Bill Gates has been recorded saying that the taxes for his properties, is over one million dollars. But he also has to pay at least three hundred thousand twice a year for a mandatory engine check on all the planes he has
