I give Michael Vey Battle of the Ampere 5 out of 5 stars because it was funny, descriptive, and emotional. Michael is on his own in the jungle with Jaime. Michael has to save his friends from the Peruvian army before they stand trial for terrorism, and could possibly get charged with the death penalty. Hatch and his electric children have taken over the ES Ampere (the Elgen’s headquarters) and now with full control of the Elgen fleet, Hatch goes to Peru to get his army together and starts putting his plan in motion for global domination. Michael and his friends have to stop Hatch, but Hatch already knows they are coming.

In the novel, Monster, by Walter Dean Myers, Steve Harmon was a good person because he was not guilty and he cared for others.

But most of the story is a form of symbolism. This story gives the reader a look at what it feels like to be lonely. In this world it’s seems hard, cold, and alone. The world seems dead. But many people in our world would say it’s not that different then the one Ray Bradbury wrote about.
“ My brain exploded into a million thoughts and only one thought at the same time - Please, don't, kill me” (23). This quote is from one of the main characters in All American Boys. Which follows the story of Rashad and Quinn, two complete strangers connected through a horrible incident. Rashad stops by Jerry's convenience store to buy some chips until a lady trips over him when he tries to get his money out of his bag causing the chips to fall out of his hand. Rashad ends up getting accused of stealing by the cashier so a cop beats him to the ground sending Rashad to the hospital.
In enduring these complex emotions, this section was the most remarkable part. One of the first apparent emotions the boy experiences with the death of his father is loneliness to make this section memorable. The boy expresses this sentiment when he stays with his father described as, “When he came back he knelt beside his father and held his cold hand and said his name over and over again,” (McCarthy 281). The definition of loneliness is, “sadness because one has no friends or company.”
In the story "Sonnet, With Bird", the main character feels like an outsider because of his Indian heritage. An example of this is in part 7 of the poem where it says "Lonely enough to cry in my motel bed one night thinking, "I am the only Indian in this country right now. I'm the only Indian within a five-thousand-mile circle." " Because the main character had a different heritage than everyone else in England, it caused him to feel like he was an outsider. This excerpt showed how lonely he felt because of his difference.
The way the authors convey the theme of solitude in the poem "I'm Happiest When Away" and the article, "A Toll on Mental Health" is that they view solitude if both different ways. Throughout the poem and the article "I'm Happiest When Away" views it as a calm place to relax while "A Toll on Mental Health" view solitude as a depressing and hurts people mental state. In the poem "I'm Happiest When Away" she mentions being a wondering spirit and saying a lot of things to make it seem like shes free being in solitude. In the poem "I'm Happiest When Away" the author states "When I am not, and none beside, Nor earth, nor sea, nor cloudless sky, But only spirit wandering wide" (Emily Bronte, paragraph 5-7), This quote shows that Emily Bronte
