The genre of the book is non-fiction. The book is non-fiction because the book is a true story about a horse getting beat and whipped. In the story the horse gets beat a lot and moves to a lot of different stables. Progontist: The characters in the book are Black Beauty. She is the main character. She is the horse that moves a lot and gets beat. Another horse in the story is Black Beauty friend. She moves a lot and gets beat too. There are a lot of the stable and horse owners. A lot of them are mean and whip the horses. There are only maybe only two owners that are nice to them and don’t pressure them too much. They are getting pushed too hard and they are carrying a lot of stuff on their backs. They are just horses they are not the strongest people. Sometimes the horses get bruises from the whips and the beats they get. Sometimes they just get whipped because they are not moving fast enough. The reason why they aren’t moving fast enough is because they are carrying almost one hundred bags on their backs. Resolution: The solution of the story is that Black Beauty finally went to a nice home where none of the owners beat her. They were nice and caring. They understood that if she had a lot of bags and was slow so they did not whip her. They let her be. She lived a good life from there on. She was not dealing with anymore beats so her life was good. Theme: The theme of the story is to not hurt someone. The theme is to not hurt someone because the horses are getting beat and they are getting hurt. They can die if someone keeps beating them. Not a lot of people will want the horses to get hurt because of stuff that is not their fault.
