By addressing the state of New York with his political language that flows across the typed canvas, Madison describes what it means to truly be involved in federalism and the effects of factions that have shifted the Union unexpectedly. Delving into the consequences and liberties of these unyielding factions, the powers of the republic and their representatives set the barriers for what is expected for the states that underlie themselves in their constitution. The factions between political parties have created a divide amongst the common man. A division that forces mankind to get involved with political affairs, whether they want to or not. The vocal bodies of the Pro-Lifers refute the beliefs of the Pro-Choicers. In which both groups explore the ideology of human rights and philosophy. The movement Black Lives Matter, which came as an outrage from police brutality ended up at odds with the rival statement that All Lives Matter. Madison describes human nature as its own faction. It is everywhere and stems from different levels. The animosity that comes from these issues drive us to cling to politicians as we fight each other over petty conflicts. Our religious beliefs and political differences produce a force in us that is so strong, we forget about the larger issues at fault that are the root of our differences. Madison’s beliefs on human nature still represent our reality today. Those with common viewpoints find themselves forming alliances while they rally around those with different opinions. Instead of voicing our opinions head on against the masses, we take to social media to hid behind our electronic devices to ensure safety. We often find ourselves in transparent contracts within factions and there is always an alpha to declare what is to be believed and followed. As cultural and societal problems continue to separate and blind us from the more potent affairs, those in power continue to stand strongly behind their treacherous
