“Black Lives Matter”! is a conversional phrase millennials chant. For thousands of years’ whites have been known for being racist individuals and enjoying their never ending white privilege. Whites have wrecked the lives of blacks for centuries and continue to do so. The phrase Black Lives Matter has roared out of from millions of Americans in the past year due to every police killing of a black citizen. (Chokshi) Discussions on race will continually persist for ages. However, in the past it seemed as if whites were flames destroying any object it comes into contact with. In the article The case for reparations, the author Ta-Nehisi Coates mentioned, “Clyde Ross lost the chance to better his education.” (Coates) Such an intelligent wise young boy lost the ability to attend a more challenging school due to the fact he wasn’t offered a bus. Meanwhile, every white child was offered to ride the school bus. The only form of transportation available to Ross were his two little feet. It’s truly depressing for a human being to be treated this carelessly and be awfully punished for being born a few shades darker. In the past, whites were known to have lavish lifestyles. Being well educated resulted in owning luxurious vehicles, a spacious cozy place to call home, and having an infinite supply of food and water. Being spoiled meant taking advantage of things. For example, food and water was surely thrown into the trash or down the drain. Whereas, a black would do everything in his or her power to provide a fresh homemade meal and a gallon of drinkable water on the table for their family. Although blacks are known to be poor, there were few white people living in poverty. After all, it seems as if whites have broadcasted the role of fire.
