Professor Merissa Beckwith Introduction Galaxy Toys is an organization that has been in business for many years and has created thousands of toy products that are geared toward children of all ages. George Jepson, Jr., CEO and Edward Mercury, CFO of Galaxy Toys have set long-term goals for the company to increase sales within two-and-a-half years. In January 2017, Galaxy Toys showed a three percent hike in sales since over a course of a year. Looking at this projective, the managers were concerned about whether the company will be able to meet the current goal of increasing sales by twenty-two percent. In order to increase sales, the company had options to produce two different toy lines that would help increase their sales. The Payload Nine toys fits well within their budget and would have no impact on the business. The MMTJE1 would cause the budget to increase and is costly. A SWOT analysis was performed and after viewing all options, the recommendation is to produce the MMTJE1 even though it is costly, but in the long run, it will develop Galaxy into an innovative organization as well as an environmentally friendly company.
