To just be a behavior technician there is no need for a diploma higher than a high school degree. but if someone wanted to be more than just a behavioral technician they would need some sort of college education. What are the different ways and parts of the training “Aspiring RBTs have several options for completing this training. Some behavior technicians get hired by an agency without having the credential but undergo qualifying training on-the-job that makes them eligible to complete the certification” (Degreequery). It's not needed to first take the training to become a RBT (Registered Behavioral Technician) but working in the field is also considered training.
Following my graduation from ASU, I hope to attend Physician Assistant school or medical school. As a medical professional, I would like to work with underserved populations and follow in the footsteps of my grandmother. She worked as a nurse at a large corporate hospital, but also volunteered her knowledge and time at a local free clinic. My grandmother found time to give back despite raising four kids and a hectic night shift schedule. I hope to set a similar example, and always manage to give back to my community.

Elderly adults usually experience problems in their daily lives due to health-related disabilities and chronic diseases. This makes it difficult for them to perform self-care activities. An elderly may need to complete various daily living activities such as taking care of their personal hygiene which may include oral care, grooming, and bathing. At times performing these activities tend to be very difficult, but with a little bit of help and therapy, they usually manage themselves. One of the responsibilities I would have as an medical assistant is answering telephones and dealing with patients. Other responsibilities I would have is greeting patients and updating/filing medical records. There is lots of education and training needed to become a medical assistant. One of the education and training needed to becoming a medical assistant is a high school diploma or GED.
When I complete all of my schoolings I would like to become a behavioral disorder counselor. This career is for me because I love helping people, I want to help people better understand themselves so they can overcome their problems, and the human brain and the thought process has always been a huge interest to me. Life has its twists and turns, but my overall life goal is simple, help others. I want to make an impact on others life, even if it is a small change. For instance, being able to hold a pencil is the difference between a student being able to graduate from Kindergarten and not be able to continue on to first grade. Being a Pediatric occupational therapist will help me make an impact on children at a very young age. Even small changes can have a large impacts, which is why I want to be that change for others.
My goal is to become a college counselor. I want to guide students to their career paths, by helping them discover their own talents, self-interests, and limitations. With these tools, students will be able to utilize the resources around them. Also, I plan to give assistance to those students that are considered a minority and are the first generations going to college.
My Future Career, Nurse Practitioner A nurse practitioner is a nurse with a graduate degree in advanced practice nursing. When I was little I always said I wanted to become a nurse practitioner. It was something about being able to help patients overcome their illnesses that interested me the most.
The question my mom would always ask me is,”What do you want to be when you grow up.” I really never have an answer to that kind of question. I always think do I want to be a special agent or a NFL player. But instead I chose a random career, but I did use to like the career. The career I had chosen to be when I get out school is to be a carpenter because I liked this job since I was little, and to earn a good living in my future.
