While reading the book Night by Elie Wiesel, one of the things I learned about was the jews living conditions. I read about Elie living them with many other jews and it stuck out to me because how could a person live like that and stay alive? Every jew that was caught was sent to a concentration camp and had a total different way of lifestyle when being held there. Another thing that stuck out while reading the book was the SS officers. The SS officers are Hitler's protective unit.
The book ¨Night¨ is written by a Holocaust survivor and and Nobel Peace Prize winner, Elie Wiesel, who went through terrible things during his time in German captivity. The events were unforgettable and life changing. He stayed with his father through all of these tough times. He escaped the terror of the Holocaust turning him into a savage even though it caused attacks from prisoners and insanity.
Elie Wiesel was a writer known for his memoir Night, in which he recounted his experiences for surviving the Holocaust. He was born on September 30, 1928 in Romania. During his early life, Elie Wiesel pursued Jewish religious studies before his family was sent to the Nazi death camps during WWII. Wiesel and his father were forced to work under inhumane conditions in Buna Werke labor camp. Then, they were forced to march to Buchenwald where his father died after being beaten.
“Hope is being able to see that there is a light despite all of the darkness.” In the book, Night, Elie Wiesel illustrates that if one keeps their hope they can survive the Holocaust. In the book a man named Moshe The Beadle ran around warning everybody that there is an evil coming. Nobody believed him and about 7 days later the Hungarian police threw all the Jews out of their homes.

In the process, one gains only a small bit of insight into the horrors that The Holocaust was to its victims. Although one reads about the very explicitly and detailed writings of the camps and the deportation, it's only reading words on a page. It’s impossible to know the pain and suffering that these people went through because of all the terror tactics used by the Nazi party, as well as the abysmal atmosphere that was present at the camps.

Never Give Up Troublesome times challenge us all, but we just work through it. Occasionally, you might feel the urge to give up, but you persist and get to see the reward on the other side. Eliezer Wiesel went through an extremely tough time in concentration camps ran by the Nazis. “Night” is the book that he wrote about his poignant experiences in the holocaust.
Just imagine that you lost everything in just one night. You had to give everything up, leaving all your belongings behind and even your house. Who knows for how many years when all of them will be back, if some of them do back it. Maybe one day they would be reunited with all their family ,their house and all your belongings. In the book Night, the main character is Elie Wiesel and in Between Shades of Gray the main character is Lina.
You may think about how to fight indifference or maybe you don’t. Either way there is a responsible way to help solve indifference. I think in the face of indifference the responsible way to approach indifference is to take your time researching and not spreading false information and taking action. Having the correct research will increase your ethos which is a good thing to have.
The book “Night” by Elie Wiesel is about how Elie and his father’s experience in the concentrations and how they survived the Holocaust. He tells us how everyone was treated, what they ate, how they slept, what he seen, how people acted, and how things worked inside the camp. He mainly talks about his experiences from start to finish. The men started out lively and faithful but ending up losing all faith.

He is saying that we all go through something awful, but everyone need to go through something hard to feel fulfilled. April 11, 20,000 inmates were still inside the camp. At six o’clock American tanks came to the gates to fight for the Jews’ freedom.

In this novel author Elie Wiesel documented the horrible and gruesome happenings of the holocaust. It was 1944 when he and his family were taken to Auschwitz concentration camp, from there on Elie never saw his mother and sister ever again, lost his innocence. At that time all Jews were being brutalized by the Nazis, they were being treated as if they weren’t humans, as if they were animals and as if they didn’t have feelings whatsoever. The Nazis would take away their most precious belongings and separate families.

Another day in the same cattle car, yet this time it has come to a stop. Some of them are dead, most starved, but none of them know what is coming. They have now arrived at Auschwitz where “Work Will Set You Free”. They have started to experience the Holocaust. The Holocaust was the event of Hitler wanting to eliminate all Jews because he did not like them and thought they needed to be eliminated due to them being different, he eliminated them by putting them in concentration camps.
