I am reading Skybreaker by Kenneth Opel and I am on page 200. This portion of the book is about a man named Matt Cruse, a poor airship academy student, and a former pirate slayer. He was doing his a training trip aboard the airship called the Flotsam when the ship suddenly started falling towards the Indian Ocean. The crew got the ship to start going up, but the ship kept going up for a long time before it stopped gaining altitude. The crew spotted a ship high up in the sky, but this was no ordinary ship, this was the legendary Hyperion. The Hyperion was lost long ago in the sky, but inside of the ship withhold many riches and treasures. The crew barely made it back to a landing space alive. Matt went back to the academy, talked about what happened with his sweetheart Kate. Being the only person on the planet who knew the location of the Hyperion and all of its treasures, he finds himself being bombarded with people wanting those coordinates to the ship. Matt is then invited to the son of the owner of the Hyperion’s house, but instead it was a trap, and pirates tried to beat the coordinates of the ship out of him. Luckily for Matt, a young lady named Nadira came to his rescue. This girl claims to have the key to unlocking the Hyperion. Matt has a hard time believing her, and the pirates that kidnapped him were still looking for him. Not knowing were to hide, he headed to Kate’s house. To his unpleasant surprise, he found Kate was talking to another man named Mr. Slater. Matt being infuriated, frustrated, and angry ran out and slept on the streets. He then decided he was going to go and get the Hyperion, with the girl Nadira. To do this though, they needed a ship that could withstand heights of twenty thousand feet. So him and Nadira went looking for a ship, they found a ship, but shockingly the ship owner was Mr.
