In America, there is a checks and balances system between all the branches, all the branches have power that the other branches do not have. This prevents one branch or person from having too much power and then becoming a dictator. There is a saying that shows what happens when a human is given too much power. It
The corrupt and unjust have held power for so long, and while they may
The American government is proposed by the constitution, principles that we as Americans live by. To live by this constitution was a well thought out idea. Without it, we run a greater risk of
So, the real question is, why should government have more power than the states and the people they govern? Shouldn’t the people have the power? Corruption, government overreach, large wars, and staggering amounts of debt are just a few issues with a large, powerful
Tyranny happens in many other countries but not so much in America and thats because of the constitution and how it guards against tyranny. The four ways of the constitution protects against tyranny are federalism separation of powers checks and balances and finally small and large state compromise. The first way the constitution guards against tyranny is federalism, federalism guards against tyranny because it spreads out the power of the government. The constitution gives power to the central government and the states.
The United States has a democratic government, which means our citizens get to help choose how our country works. The Constitution is setup to include citizens in the law making and voting process and preventing the US from turning into a tryannical government. Three ways we do thi s is by using Federalism, Separation of Powers and Checks and Balances. Federalism is a system our country uses to make sure power doesn’t stay in one area (Doc A). This method gives specific responsibilities to Central Government and each state.
Tyranny is everywhere, the only way it’s not is if we can prevent it ourselves. One of America’s first governments was the Articles of confederation. The Articles of Confederation was shown to be corrupt and couldn’t get the job done, the government didn’t consist of any sort of chief executive, no court system and a weak central government, due to the inability of the government to enforce taxes. The people decided it needed to go. James Madison and a group of men decided to come together in an event known as the Cconstitutional Cconvention, in order to create a new system of government.
That sounds like our government you might ask,
There are many different types of governments in our world. The difficulty of forming a government is probably very intense. And with that, there are the citizens and their involvement, causing lots of room for failure. The government of the United States is particularly interesting on many levels. The Articles of Confederation ushered with it many issues regarding the agreeability within the governmental powers, and brought a multitude of problems with regard to balance among the government powers.
Bush uses the words “any person” to obtain Americans attention by indicating that no matter who the person is that if any person brings risk to American the person who brought risk will be punished making Americans think America think punishments are a result of justice. He also repeats the word “terrorist” 4 times which generates Americans to think that terrorists are the ones who bring more danger to America and won’t know when terrorists could be attacked. However, Bush persuades that Americans are protected by using the phrases “is complicit in the murder….target of American justice...will be confronted..” leading the Americans to think that when American finds out someone is a risk to America there will be quick consequences causing to penalty and treated as a terrorist. Overall, Americans feel relieved of America for bringing justice for whoever tries to harm America in order to protect
If the government tried to put the interests of citizens before their own, and not allow the citizens to get punish for what rights are obligated for them then they will see by putting the people first will benefit America as a whole. In my opinion I feel that the constitution is a petty factor for determining the democracy of a government and the rights of the people in that

They should not be able to make decisions without peoples say in what their opinion is. Our people should have the same amount of power when they vote for something than the government deciding their own opinion while ignoring the peoples most votes. Most people should be able to decide what they want to be legal and not want to be legal because they are the ones who live in the country and are the ones who work in the country. The government just has a job just like other people and shouldn’t be treatd with more say inb votes, they are just people who run our country. They should not also take a say that they shouldn’t have more power because they will most likely will have more poweer because they are considered the boss.
The United States, land of the free, home of the brave. Although, the United States may always be viewed as the perfect place to be and everyone is treated fair with no hatred this view is not always what it presumes to be. The United States, just like any other country has its issues, some which the government may try to solve but not always in the best way that would suit its citizens. Some of the laws passed, which may benefit a particular group of people may not always help the other party. These type of actions along with other activities that the government might perform, or other things they allow, may lead citizens to rebel against the system.
The government makes a mark on its people through enforcement of laws, protection of the public or use of taxpayer money; unfortunately, the government is in control. Although, I disapprove of the job congress is doing or the direction president is leading us in, but I still
